Update on Jared's Coupe. Original rear axle removed, supplied steels cut & banded to desired offset/dish. Rear axle supplied offered up, but was far too narrow. So 2nd Mustang axle sourced then subsequently narrowed to suit the car. All suspension points transferred from original axle & copied onto Mustang (not that far out btw) then offered back in situ with the Humongous tyres!! Next stage will be to finish this off, but first wheel arch needs moving (due to humongous tyres!), engine needs to go back in to see if tunnel mods are required? prop, brakes, steering........ yeah.....lots yet

After seeing a friend of mine selling something a bit different, my 'sensible head' screaming walk away,....... I found myself purchasing this from him for a 'rainy day' project. Since it needed a bit of tidying and didn't have its original engine (running a 2.5 Iveco diesel turbo atm) it was rife for some changes and my 'personal' take on things. After registering the '54 Chevy time had come to start the strip down. As part of that I wanted to see what lay beneath the grime and layers of rough brush applied paint on the original battered tinwork. Very pleased with how bright (some of) the original colour is. V8 Viva exhausts needed to be something that sounded right and looked right so the take os modifying the previous attempt was started.
